One of the nicest holidays I ever did was a tour of the Australian coast between Sydney and Melbourne. There was stunning scenery, lots of things to do and friendly Australian people.

With many car rental sydney and car rental Melbourne choices along the coast, hiring a car is the easiest way to make your way around. Car hire companies are more than happy to assist you plan your trip and pin point the main attractions along the way. Car companies are constantly running promotions and deals. I managed to secure a great one way special to Melbourne at a car hire in Sydney.

I drove south from Sydney through Royal National Park. The Grand Pacific Drive is exhilarating. I took my time exploring coastal villages and spent a few hours in the bustling city of Wollongong before stopping for the night at Jervis Bay.

The next daybreak I took a cruise to see the resident dolphin population that Jervis Bay is renowned for. The beautiful white sand beaches made it hard to leave. Further south I managed to buy some great, high quality craft items in the historic villages of Central Tilba and Tilba Tilba.

I stopped at Mimosa Rocks National Park and swam in the lagoon before stopping at Tathra Beach to watch some surfers and enjoy the beach. That evening I lodged in the classy village of Metung and had a wonderful seafood platter in one of the lakeside restaurants.

Wilsons Promontory National Park is home to great scenery and an abundance of wildlife such as emus, wombats and kangaroos. I spent an entire day hiking through eucalypt forests, exploring beaches and coves and climbing on granite mountains.

Next stop was Fish Creek, a small, quirky and thriving town with arts and crafts, books and cafes. I took the bridge over to Phillip Island, a popular family stop. At Nobbies Centre you can watch the penquins strutting up and down the beach and see one of Australia’s biggest fur seal settlements.

I ended my trip in Melbourne making my last stop at the working heritage farm on Churchill Island. Renting a car gave me the flexibility and convenience during my trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Next time I may get a car rental in Melbourne and do this trip the other direction!

It’s the last week in June so that signifies merely one thing. Wimbledon is here! It’s the half a month in the year where people will get out their tennis rackets, find their whitest of whites and brave the predictable showers to exercise their serve and volley. Man and Van Wimbledon is devoted to supplying the most efficient and competitive service acquirable even when SW19 fills with tourists. Man and Vans, London’s premier light removal service, is grounded in South West London and really is happy to assist its neighbors with any light removals they may have. Man with Van Wimbledon might be too occupied to take to the courts this summer but here at Man and Vans headquarters we’re exceedingly mad about Wimbledon’s new Centre Court Roof. Although Man and Van Wimbledon will work in the showers, Rafael, Roger and Andy have never been too ready to face the elements. Fortunately this year there’ll be no need for Cliff Richards’ services as, from the 17th May, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Association has been using its new retractable roof. Health and Safety tests on the court were led by none other than Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Tim Henman and Kim Clijsters, who savoured an exhibition game of mixed doubles as the timely rain patted the roof as it retracted.

This blog is from our recent trip to Waikiki. Ive got to tell you, if you ever have the opportunity to make it to Hawaii, you should absolutely take the offer. It has to be one of the most enjoyable places in the States. It is so amazing to have such a phenomenal location in our country.

The hospitality there is astonishing. We took a surf lesson, rode a canoe, saw a few hula exhibits and even had a chance to try out some bona fide Hawaiian food at a luau. They say ono out there, it means delicious. The Kalua Pig is to die for and be sure to stop by for a lava flow drink at Dukes. Its a little spot on Waikiki beach, great for an evening night cap. One of the most unforgettable aspects was when we treated ourselves to a massage. It was stunning, super relaxing and well deserved after a hard years work.

Oahu is special. Don’t stress that you won’t do it all, because you can’t. Determine what is most important to you and focus on that. Take time to unwind and enjoy just being there. Needless to say, we will be going back as soon as possible.

Min Bahadur Sherchan last attempt resulted in the rescue of Lincoln Hall, an Australian climber who was left by his team in the “death zone.”

They flexed their muscles this year all the in name of the Olympic spirit, but it was hardly spirited at all.”

Further, the decision to actualize a long-time personal goal left Bahadur Sherchan with some internal uncertainties, he cited the political actions of China and Nepal as providing the greatest adversity he faced on his journey. More than 3028 people have climbed to the summit since it was first conquered in 1953 by New Zealander Edmund Hillary, who died in January, and Nepal’s Tenzing Norgay.

The Chinese were flying their airplanes over Mt Everest and had Chinese officials in Kathmandu. Now that Andrew Brash has successfully scaled the tallest mountain in the world, he is once again ready to focus on his family. Sherchan just 9 days away from his 77th birthday beat the age record set last year by 71-year-old Japanese teacher Katsusuke Yanagisawa.

They basically coerced the Nepali government to not allow any climbers past camp two on the Nepali side. Man from Nepal, 74, oldest person to climb Mount Everest Min Bahadur Sherchan and four climbing guides reached the 29,035-foot (8,850-meters) summit of the world’s highest mountain early Sunday, said Ramesh Chretri, an official with Nepal’s ministry of tourism.

This season French climber Anthony Loeff is reporting the scales for Chomolungma or Mount Everest after he reached the summit of earlier this year.

“The Chinese weren’t allowing anybody on the Mount Everest. They ended up commandeering it for themselves, even though Everest is shared by two countries. Bahadur Sherchan returned this week from Nepal after successfully climbing to the summit of Chomolungma. Hall was frostbitten and severely disoriented due to altitude sickness. Min Bahadur Sherchan returned a hero to Calgarians. “Chomolungma this year became a political pawn,” he said with some frustration.

Nevertheless, he was all too aware of the potential dangers Mt Everest could bring. Certain parts of the climb are more dangerous than others and it is important for climbers to remain focused His first found him within 160 metres of the peak when his team stopped to help a fellow mountaineer who was left for dead. Two years later, Andrew Brash, a University of Calgary alumni, returned to Mount Everest to finish what he had started.

As he planned for the climb, Sherchan told reporters he wanted to inspire fellow senior citizens. He also said many Nepalese have established records on Everest, so it was only fitting that the record for the oldest climber to reach the summit should also belong to a Nepali. The 75-year-old man from Nepal is now the oldest person to have reached the top of the Mount Everest. With the Chinese preparing for the impending summer Olympic Games, Bahadur Sherchan noted that the government’s actions hardly reflected the Olympic spirit.
