SmarterMail is an exchange-level Windows mail server while SmarterStats is a tool used in comprehensive web analytics. SmarterTrack, on the other hand, is a type of customer service software. The bundle is valued at $800 and is going to be included in Net Onboard’s dedicated hosting server and virtual machine hosting plans.

Net Onboard explains that its VM hosting is designed to ensure reliability, stability, uptime and performance. It caters to clients opting for more control over their servers without using high resources.

The company also mentions that its high end users can avail of their Windows/Linux dedicated server package. This allows a client to meet concerns associated with managing high traffic web sites and forums without having to purchase a physical server.

The company states that the software offer will only be available to customers that are subscribed to qualify for virtual machine hosting packages or its dedicated server plans. Qualified clients have to activate their SmarterStats, SmarterTrack and SmarterMail licenses through the software provider in order to use the suite without the additional expense.

The new software offerings are touted to improve Net Onboard’s range of reliable hosting and dedicated server solutions. With the new package, clients will get to experience more control over web site and server management concerns.

The challenge of Navision Upgrade This should be understood by both: software developer and company executive.

• One Dictionary – in contract to such product as Microsoft Great Plains, where customization goes into separate dictionary – Navision customization sits in the same dictionary. This means that when new version is out there – the customization should be re-analyzed and moved from the old dictionary to the new. If you remember the history – Navision actually merged several dictionaries couple of versions back – this was very tough time for customization upgrade
• SQL Server side – from this side upgrade is smooth, because Navision doesn’t use complex SQL functionality and SQL Server itself is rather data storage.
